Do we have to close the parking lot?
No. We phase the work section by section so the lot stays usable. For properties where daytime access is critical, we schedule nights or weekends.
What is the difference between hot pour and cold pour crack filler?
Cold pour is bucket material that shrinks and pulls away from the crack walls, often failing within a season. Hot-applied rubberized sealant is melted and poured at temperature, penetrates deeper, bonds to both walls, and flexes with the pavement through freeze and thaw.
When is a crack too far gone to fill?
Once an area has broken into interconnected pieces, filling will not hold it. That section needs patching or replacement, and we flag it in the quote instead of sealing something that is going to fail anyway.
Should crack filling happen before sealcoating?
Yes, always. Sealer is a thin protective coat, not a filler. Cracks get sealed first, then sealcoat goes over the top. Reversing the order wastes both.
